(89% Merlot, 19% Cabernet Franc, 1% Cabernet Sauvignon) The nose is frank, beautifully racy and offers complexity as well as a beautifully precise and chiseled grain. A sense of the place (local biotope / a discreet hint of Mediterranean barrier). It expresses notes of wild blackberry, wild pepper and small notes of spices associated with touches of violet, blueberry, bright red berries as well as fine pints of liquorice stick. The palate is beautifully built, suave, fresh, supple, airy, beautifully gourmand and offers a tangy frame, shine, sparkle as well as a beautiful complexity / a multi-layered side. An explosion of fruit. It expresses notes of morello cherry, bright blackcurrant and small notes of blueberry associated with touches of cornflower, bright blue plum, liquorice stick, graphene, almost a discreet chalky side, with fine hints of tobacco and nutmeg, liquorice and roasted-juicy cherry. Tannins are nicely built, suave, gourmand and mellow. Fine resistance on the finish. Beautiful persistence, supple, fresh, elegant, airy, with roundness and gourmandise.
