Lovely elegant nose with power in delicacy, subtlety and a lovely multi-layered side with depth and concentration in precision. There is a lovely racy grain with notes of crème de cassis, fleshy bright strawberries and more slightly – roasted cherries combined with touches of small bright blue fruits as well as a hint of crushed redcurrant, a fine sappy hint and a discreet note of cornflower, lily and minerality on a graphite freshness. The palate is fruity with freshness and minerality. There is a tangy frame with energy and depth but also delicacy in the power, pulpiness and juicyness of the fruit. We have notes of pulpy and juicy cherries, bright raspberries and more slightly of pulpy blue plum associated with touches of crushed blackcurrant, lily, sense of place and fine iodized or even saline hints as well as discreet chocolate notes in the background and toasted hazelnuts. There is also a hint of bergamot for this pretty, racy wine with power, freshness, tanginess and finesse. The tannins are sapid, iodized and elegant. There is a very nice persistence and sapidity with gourmandise and caudalies greater than 17.
