The nose is fruity, fresh, elegant and offers concentration (with control and precision) as well as precision. We find notes of pulpy blackberry, Sichuan pepper and small notes of cornflower associated with touches of star anise, fresh morello cherry, hints of fresh roasted small fruits, discreet hints of cardamom, lily as well as as well as a subtle hint of sense of place (local biotope), toast and vanilla (very discreet). The palate is beautifully fresh, elegant, gourmand, juicy, pulpy, nicely racy, delicate and offers aerial power, roundness, deepness as well as a lovely bright. Full of precision and control. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, small bright/fresh blue fruits and small notes of juicy morello cherry associated with touches of vanilla, toasted, nutmeg, blueberry as well as fine hints of infusion and discreet hints of chocolate. Tannins are supple, elegant and racy. A beautiful balance of freshness/acidity. Beautiful persistence.
