The nose is aromatic, elegant, fine, deep and offers intensity, a fine incisive side as well as complexity. It reveals notes of blackberry, violet, cassis, crushed wild strawberry and more slightly fleshy raspberry associated with small/fine touches of coffee, mocha as well as a subtle/discreet hint of blueberry, liquorice and a very discreet hint of toasted nut. The palate is fruity, mineral, well-balanced, elegant, delicate, straight, precise and offers a good definition, a fine tension, finesse, power, a good structure, a small suavity, a fine richness as well as a very beautiful material and a very slightly unctuous texture. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed blackberry, crushed cassis and more slightly wild raspberry associated with small touches of wild berries, lilac/flowers as well as a subtle hint of coffee and a very discreet hint of gray pepper (in the background). Tannins are well-built and very discreetly powdered. Good length.
