The nose is fruity, fine, relatively concentrated, fresh and intense. It reveals notes of blackberry cream, black berries and cassis associated with slight notes of dark chocolate as well as slight notes of liquorice stick and rose. The palate is fruity, gourmand, mineral, nicely balanced and offers a nice tension, freshness and a creamy matter. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of blackberry cream, black cherry jam and plum associated with slight notes of liquorice, zan as well as a discreet hint of cassis bud, dark chocolate, coffee and oak. Tannins are fine, elegant and ripe (for an EnPrimeur wine). Good length. The finish is powerful.
