Château Pavie 2018 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

The nose is ripe, elegant and offers complexity, richness, finesse, power, intensity as well as a beautiful finesse of the grain. It reveals notes of ripe cassis, ripe boysenberry and small notes of liquorice associated with small touches of strawberry, caramelization, slight hints of cardamom as well as a subtle hint of incense, Bourbon vanilla and discreet hints of spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, an acidulous frame, tension, a beautiful definition / precision, a beautiful elegance / finesse, complexity, a beautiful finesse of the grain, a fine minerality as well as a fine freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy / juicy boysenberry, fleshy / juicy cassis and small notes of juicy strawberry associated with slight touches of juicy blueberry, violet as well as slight hints of licorice stick, cardamom, blueberry, vanilla, toasted almond and a subtle hint of hazelnut.
