The nose is elegant, aromatic, complex and racy. It reveals notes of crushed blackberry, crushed cassis and more slightly small red fruits associated with fine touches of violet, lily as well as subtle touches of tonka bean, Sichuan pepper, almond and toasted bread. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, elegant and offers a beautiful finesses of the grain, delicacy, harmony, tension, a small aerial side, power, subtlety as well as a very fine unctuosity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, fleshy cassis, black cherry and more slightly juicy raspberry associated with discreet touches of blueberry, liquorice, flowers (violet, lily) as well as discreet touches of toasted, roasted/coffee and very discreet touches of spices. Tannins are fine and well-built. Good length and persistence.
