The nose is fruity, beautifully elegant and offers a beautiful definition as well as a beautiful finesse of the grain. It reveals notes of ripe cassis, Boysen berry and small notes of crushed strawberry associated with touches of blueberry, cornflower, a subtle hint of violet, juicy/fleshy raspberry as well as toasted hints, tonka bean, sweet spices and very discreet hints of orange. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, elegant and offers a beautiful definition, freshness, juiciness, an acidulous frame as well as a good structure. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/ripe cassis, juicy/ripe raspberry and small notes of plum associated with fine touches of juicy Boysen berry, fine touches of chocolate, toasted, caramelization, discreet hints of mild tobacco leaf as well as a subtle hint of tea and vanilla. Tannins are structuring. Good length.
