The nose is fruity, racy, elegant and offers a fine power/intensity as well as a beautiful finesse of the grain. It reveals notes of blacberry, fleshy strawberry and more slightly violet associated with touches of toasted, Bourbon vanilla, racy minerality as well as discreet hints of Cuben pepper, flowers and spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, minerality, a small juiciness, a good precision, freshness, silkiness as well as a fine juicy/mineral frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy raspberry, fleshy cherry and more slightly cassis associated with touches of blackberry, racy minerality, toasted, tonka bean as well as hints of flowers and tobacco/liquorice. Good length. There is a hint of almond and a very discreet chew on the persistence.
