Château Paloumey 2023 – Haut-Médoc

The nose is juicy and ripe. It expresses notes of morello cherry, wild strawberry, black plum, blackberry (in the background), red cherry, as well as a gourmet touch of raspberry coulis and the freshness of chocolate with mint. We also find a slight hint of toast, notes of liquorice and nutmeg, as well as a touch of peony and crushed peppermint after aeration. The palate is silky and chocolatey, with melted and savory tannins. We find the flavors of morello cherry in chocolate, wild strawberry, dark chocolate plum, raspberry coulis, liquorice and nutmeg. The finish is long and chocolatey, with nice acidity, gourmandise and balance.
