Château Paloumey 2022 – Haut-Médoc

The nose is mineral, racy, precise and offers a certain purity. It expresses notes of wild black berries, blackberry, star anise and more slightly – crushed cherry, combined with touches of crushed raspberry as well as slight hints of lily, cola and bergamot/blue tea. The palate is fresh, fruity and offers minerality, freshness, a certain roundness and accuracy and a mineral framework. It expresses notes of luscious/juicy blackberry, bigarreau cherry and slight hints of violet associated with a touch of lily as well as hints of blueberry, fresh blond tobacco and a subtle hint of fresh liquorice stick. Freshness and a certain gourmandise, roundness and suppleness.
