Château Paloumey 2021 – Haut-Médoc Cru Bourgeois Supérieur

The nose is fruity, currently a bit tight and reveals a certain elegance. There are notes of blackberry, pulpy strawberry and, to a lesser extent, black pepper, combined with hints of spice, camphor and fine toasted notes and a discreet hint of Sichuan pepper. The palate is fruity and reveals juiciness, minerality, acidity, tension and precision. On the palate this wine expresses juicy/pulpy black cherry, purple plum and lighter strawberry notes with hints of crushed red berries and hints of toast, cardamom and fine cocoa. Freshness and minerality, with a very discreet hint of rose in the background.
