The nose is elegant, precise, ample, velvety and offers concentration in accuracy, a lovely gravelly/racy side (terroir), a certain mellowness and finesse. There are notes of ripe/pulpy boysenberry, crushed wild strawberry and small notes of raspberry, almost lightly roasted, associated with touches of fleshy plum, fine hints of Madagascar pepper, as well as a delicate hint of sappy, lilac and crunchy cherry. The palate is well-built, supple, elegant, airy, precise, beautifully racy and offers accuracy, a tangy frame, delicacy, silkiness, as well as a certain fleshiness/pulpiness all in accuracy/elegance. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cassis, violet and small notes of fleshy black cherry, combined with touches of cornflower, fine hints of cardamom, camphor, fleshy black cherry, as well as fine hints of gravel, balsamic, elegant-darkness, toasted, cornflower and chocolate. A lovely little mellowness. Elegant, mellow tannins. There’s almost a discreet sunshine side in some of the fruit.
