The nose is aromatic, powerful, fresh and offers a small spicy side and complexity. It reveals notes of fresh/crushed, ripe cassis and small notes of juicy/fresh raspberry associated with touches of fresh iris/flowers, fresh cocoa bean as well as a subtle hint of chamomilla, bramble/varietal and a very discreet hint of toasted. The palate is fruity, very discreetly tight and offers juiciness, gourmandize, an acidulous frame, a beautiful freshness, delicacy as well as tension, a beautiful definition of the fruit (full of delicacy), energy and suavity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy black cherry, juicy raspberry and small notes of crunchy/juicy Boysen berry associated with touches of fresh lilac, fresh violet as well as discreet hints of small fresh red fruits, discreet hints of chocolate/tonka bean, nutmeg, hazelnut and a subtle hint of almond. Tannins are elegant, well-built and racy. Good length and aromatic persistence.
