The nose is elegant, complex, charming and elegant. It reveals fine notes of blackberry, crushed cassis, raspberry and crushed redcurrant are combined with a hint of cardamom, tea as well as a subtle hint of sweet spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a nice minerality / freshness, a good dynamism, a beautiful guideline, beautiful delicacy, a beautiful finesse as well as a silky and very slightly tight matter. On the palate this wine expresses notes of cassis, wild fruits and a hint of plum, raspberry and fresh/ wild red berries associated with slight touches of toasted oak, tea, a very discreet touch of tonka bean as well as a subtle touch of minerality, licorice / caramelization and an imperceptible hint of violet. Tannins are well-built. Good length. There are an imperceptible hint of coffee as well as an discreet hint of almond / hazelnut (after 3 caudalies) on the aftertaste.
