Château Palais Cardinal 2024 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

The nose is well-built and offers a certain textured and some fine spices. It reveals notes of sweet pepper, nutmeg and small notes of bright cassis, associated with touches of crushed strawberries, as well as hints of small dense black fruits, graphene, smoke and fine mocha hints in the background. The palate is fruity, fresh, mineral, it offers a fresh frame, acidity, a certain gourmandise and good definition. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, juicy/pulpy cassis and small notes of bright cherry, combined with touches of plum blossom, camphor, toastiness and a hint of mocha. Good length. The tannins are precise and finely mellow. A wine offering freshness and sapidity.
