The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose is a little closed at first, but offers accuracy and precision. After aeration, it expresses notes of strawberry, red plum, black plum, a touch of blackcurrant jam, wild blackberry and crushed raspberry. We also find delicate spicy aromas (liquorice, a touch of star anise, nutmeg, coriander seeds), associated with a hint of menthol and floral (violet). The woody notes (toast, sweet coffee) are very discreet. On the palate, the attack is fruity and fragrant, supple and gourmand. The wine expresses notes of black plum, wild strawberry, red plum, crushed raspberry and wild blackberry, which are then complemented by spicy flavors (liquorice, star anise, nutmeg, coriander seeds), menthol and flowers ( peony, violet). Beautiful tannin structure: subtle, but quite firm. Good level of acidity. The finish is sapid, chocolatey and slightly toasted. Gourmandise, concentration and complexity.
