Château Palais Cardinal 2019 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

The nose is fruity and offers radiance as well as a certain concentration. It reveals notes of wild cassis, violet and slight touch of cornflower associated with small touches of raspberry, small blue fruits as well as fine hints of pepper and a very discreet hint of sweet blond tobacco. The palate is fruity and offers suavity, a little freshness as well as a tangy frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, tangy / juicy raspberry and more slightly violet associated with touches of cornflower, small tangy / pulpy red currants as well as delicate touch of zan and an imperceptible hint of Sichuan pepper (in the background). Good length.
