Château Ormes de Pez 2022 – Saint Estèphe

The nose is aromatic, and offers a graphite side as well as a certain fresh intensity. It expresses notes of wild blackberry, wild raspberry and more slightly – fresh pepper associated with touches of star anise, a fine hint of sap as well as hints of graphite, fine hints of tobacco. The palate is fresh, fruity, and offers minerality, a tangy frame, juiciness, tension, a certain straightness, a fine powdery side. It expresses notes of juicy blackberry, fresh raspberry and more slightly – small fresh/juicy black berries associated with touches of cocoa, tonka bean, as well as a hint of racy minerality.
