Château Ollieux Romanis – Cuvée Prestige 2018 – Corbières Boutenac

The nose is fruity, fresh, finely on the hold and offers a small intensity. It reveals notes of crushed blackberry, cassis cream, small notes of small crushed black fruits associated with touches of violet, lily, black cherry as well as fine hints of fresh olive tree, lavender, chocolate, nutmeg and pepper. The palate is fruity, racy and offers juiciness, gourmandize, a certain generosity, fat as well as suavity, a fine unctuosity and an acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, cassis cream, small notes of crushed violet plum associated with touches of lilac, lavender, chocolate as well as fine hints of small crushed red fruits, toasted, vanilla and a discreet hint of nutmeg. Tannins are structuring. Good length.
