The nose is fresh, racy and offers a fine intensity. There are notes of fresh blackberry, fresh raspberry associated with small redcurrants, olive / olive tree as well as fine hints of sage, pepper and a very discreet hint of spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offer freshness, minerality, fat, a certain gourmandize as well as a little creaminess. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy / pulpy blackberry, juicy / pulpy cassis and more slightly small red fruits associated with touches of rose, arbutus / local scrubland, with fine hints of fresh sage, racy minerality as well as a subtle hint of licorice and sweet spices / toast. Tannins are precise, finely tight and suave. Presence of a subtle hint of chocolate and a fine hint of caramelization in the background.
