Château Olivier 2018 – Pessac-Léognan

The nose is fruity, fleshy and offers a good freshness, a small richness as well as a fine fleshiness. It reveals notes of fresh/ripe lemon, fresh/crunchy pineapple and small notes of fresh/ripe peach associated with fine touches of ripe/juicy mandarine,a touch of flowers (white flowers, rose) as well as discreet hints of crunchy pear (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a beautiful definition, a beautiful acidulous frame, gourmandize, sapidity, a beautiful suavity, tension as well as a good finesse. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/ripe lemon, juicy/ripe peach and small notes of juicy/ripe mandarine associared with a touch of crunchy/juicy pineapple, crunchy pear as well as fine hints of pink grapefruit and a very discreet hint of flowers. Good length.
