The nose is elegant, racy, truffle and offers a very fine intensity. It reveals notes of fairly ripe blackberry, camphor and slight hint of cassis associated with touches of truffle, tobacco as well as fine touch of nutmeg, cuben pepper and a subtle hint of racy minerality/saline. The palate is fruity, balanced and offers juiciness, a mineral frame, fat, a little roundness, good definition, good freshness, certain gourmandize as well as slight tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy blackberry, fairly ripe raspberry and more slightly cassis associated with touches of truffle, sweet spices, nutmeg, chocolate, a subtle hint of undergrowth as well as a discreet hint of bergamot and pepper. Tannins are racy. Good length. Savory at the end of the mouth.
