The nose is elegant, offering lovely finesse and touch of grain, a certain depth, fine concentration and a discreet powdery side. It reveals notes of boysenberry, wild raspberry and small notes of bright bigarreau cherry, associated with touches of blackberry, cornflower, racy minerality, as well as a discreet hint of pepper and iodine. The palate is well-built, supple, fresh and mineral. It also offers a mineral frame, acidity and good definition. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy cassis, cherry and small notes of cornflower, associated with touches of juicy/fresh raspberry, racy minerality, as well as fine hints of infusion, star anise and a discreet hint of toasted hazelnut, vanilla and toasted. The tannins are sapid and supple. A wine offering a lovely gourmandise and a little chewiness on the finish/persistence.
