The nose is aromatic, slightly tight and offers concentration. It reveals notes of blackberry, wild berries, small red fruits, ripe bell pepper associated with a discreet hint of cassis as well as touches of gray pepper and spices. The palate is fruity, juicy, mineral, well-balanced, clean and offers a beautiful freshness, a beautiful mineral frame, straightness, precision as well as a very slightly creamy material. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, juicy raspberry and more slightly cassis associated with fine touches of zan, mild tobacco, caramelized oak as well as subtle touches of spices and a subtle hint of tonka bean (in the background). Tannins are fine and very slightly firm. Good length.
