The nose is fruity and offers a slight concentration as well as a slight straightness / power. It reveals notes of crushed cassis, wild blackberry and wild strawberry combined with slight touches of wild raspberry and discreet hints of chocolate, toastes hints and hazelnut. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a nice juicy frame, gourmandise, a good volume, a good freshness as well as a slight suavity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy / juicy cassis, blueberry and slight notes of crushed raspberry associated with subtle hints of liquorice, chocolate as well as a subtle minty hint on the finish. Tannins are well-buit and a bit firm. Good length. There is a subtle touch of espresso / coffee on the aftertaste.
