The nose is spicy and a bit tight. There are notes of fresh quince, mandarin/crystallized zest and slight notes of lychee associated with touches of racy minerality, fresh flowers as well as a hint of small dried fruits/nutmeg. The palate is fruity, balanced and offers freshness, minerality, a fresh structure, tension, roundness as well as a small spherical side. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy apple, crushed peach and more lightly crystallized lemon associated with a touch of roasted pineapple, racy minerality, small tangy fruits, fine hints of fresh flowers as well as a discreet hint of saffron (on its floral side) and fresh almond.
