CHÂTEAU MOUTTE BLANC 2022 – Margaux

CHÂTEAU MOUTTE BLANC 2022 – Margaux

The nose is fruity and offers a fine power and deepness. It reveals notes of pulpy raspberry, wild strawberry and small notes of rhubarb, associated with fine touches of fresh lily and rose, as well as discreet hints of fresh blond tobacco, nutmeg, a hint of Sichuan pepper and a fine hint of black tea and infusion. The palate is well-built, supple and fresh, opening out nicely, with fatness, a tangy frame, energy and a good play on discreet bitters in the background. It expresses notes of fleshy/pulpy cherry, bright raspberry and small notes of cassis, associated with a hint of ripe cranberry, as well as hints of cornflower, zan and a subtle hint of infusion. Tannins are mellow and gourmand. A silky, delicate wine.
