Château Mouton Rothschild 2024 – Pauillac

The nose is elegant, racy, delicate, airy and offers a lovely finesse in its intensity/power. Lovely finesse of grain, airy, taut and intense. A melodious side in its intensity. There are notes of violet, violet plum and small notes of cornflower, associated with pretty touches of graphene/graphite, Charlotte strawberry, small crushed red fruits, as well as fine hints of almost blueberry and sweet spices. Lovely aromatic depth ! The palate is beautifully fresh, delicate, suave, sapid, harmonious, elegant and offers a lovely melodious side, a nice little fat as well as a nice finesse in its structure and grain. A certain concentration all in accuracy. A discreet elegant-austerity. Nice mid-palate. This wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cassis, violet plum and small notes of cornflower, combined with touches of licorice stick, colas, lilac, iris, as well as fine hints of racy minerality/saline gravel , a subtle hint of nutmeg, Sichuan pepper, almost cornflower and chocolate. The tannins are suave, sapid and finely iodized. Good length. Almost a discreet hint of mandarin peel/blood orange.
