Château Mouton Rothschild 2023 – Pauillac Cru Classé

Château Mouton Rothschild 2023 – Pauillac Cru Classé

A lovely elegant, precise, powerful, racy nose, which offers a certain intensity racy in elegance, concentration and finesse, vibrant. It expresses notes of bright boysenberry, bright blackcurrant and more lightly – bigarreau cherry, associated with touches of infusion, almost aromatic herbs, fresh Madagascar pepper and discreet hints of cornflower, star anise, graphite, small bright red fruits and blueberry. Beautifully complex and multi-layered, but all in elegance and classicism. The palate is beautifully mineral, fresh, elegant, balanced and offers a nice definition, precision, accuracy, tension in finesse, a nice silky airy side, power and accuracy/finesse at the same time. It expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, bright blackcurrant and more lightly – bigarreau cherry, associated with beautiful touches of racy minerality, iodized gravel, as well as hints of small, fairly ripe red berries, a subtle hint of star anise, nutmeg, tonka bean in the background and toasted almond. Beautifully readable, beautiful definition, precision. A subtle hint of tonka bean on the persistence and tobacco, a subtle hint of smoke.
