Château Moulin Riche 2023 – Saint-Julien

A lovely fruity nose, precise, racy, harmonious which offers a fine concentration in accuracy and a certain velvetiness. It expresses notes of boysenberry, pulpy/bright redcurrants and small notes of violet associated with touches of cornflower, dry gravel and a discreet hint of cubeb pepper and a floral hint. The palate is nicely juicy and nicely defined, fruity and offers suavity, gourmandise, a tangy frame, pulpiness, a lovely stretched side. It expresses notes of pulpy/juicy raspberry, pulpy/juicy small blue fruits and small notes of racy minerality associated with touches of star anise, nutmeg, toasted with a subtle floral hint, graphite and cocoa. The tannins are soft, greedy, sapid. A subtle firmness on the finish/persistence. A subtle infusion side in the background, bright, pulpy, fleshy.
