Château Moulin Riche 2018 – Saint-Julien

The nose is fruity, elegant and offers intensity as well as a small power. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, small ripe wild red fruitsand small notes of cassia associated with touches of grey pepper, violet, wild blueberry as well as fine hints of spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy/acidulous frame, minerality, juiciness as well as a beautiful definition, a beautiful ripe/precise fruit and finesse. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright cassis, bright cherry and small notes of raspberry associated with touches of small crushed red fruits, blueberry, violet, lily as well as hints of camphor, liquorice, spices and a very discreet hint of tobacco (in the background). Good length. Tannins are precise and well-built. A hint of hazelnut and chocolate as well as a very discreet chew on the persistence.
