Château Moulin Haut-Laroque 2023 – Fronsac

A lovely fruity nose, fresh, elegant, captivating, which offers a certain richness and breadth in finesse. It expresses notes of bigarreau cherry, pulpy purple plum and more slightly – violet/lily, associated with fine touches of fresh red berries, as well as a hint of wisteria, liquorice and discreet hints of spices, a fine hint of saffron and maceration. The palate is nicely juicy, fruity and offers freshness, minerality, a tangy frame, tension, a certain accuracy, suppleness and delicacy, purity and a crystalline side in its richness. It expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, bright blackcurrant and more slightly – bright plum, associated with touches of cornflower, lilac, as well as hints of racy minerality and fresh incense, maceration, liquorice stick and toast. Good length. Soft, elegant, fresh and finely sappy tannins.
