Château Moulin Haut-Laroque 2022 – Fronsac

Beautiful and complex nose that offers a racy limestone power as well as a frank, straight and precise grain. It reveals notes of boysenberry, wild cassis and small notes of balsamic associated with touches of wild strawberry as well as fine hints of colas, blond tobacco, a hint of vanilla, warm oak and a discreet hint of crushed blueberry in the background. The palate is beautifully built, fresh, mineral, elegant, unctuous (even creamy) as well as precise. On the palate this wine expresses notes of creamy blackberry, creamy blueberry and small notes of crushed strawberry associated with touches of dark chocolate, toast, almost a caramelized side as well as hints of blond tobacco, a subtle hint of camphor and a discreet hint of coconut (in the background). Good length. A nice grain of graphite/chalky tannin. A smoky side in the background.
