The nose is fruity, racy, elegant, beautifully built and offers a beautiful finesse of the grain as well as a fine intensity. It reveals notes of blackberry, cassis and small notes of fleshy raspberry associated with a hint of blueberry, cornflower, discreet hints of tonka bean as well as a subtle hint of black tea and spices. The palate is well-built, well-balanced, racyy, beautifully fruity/juicy, elegant and offers a good freshness, precision, suavity, finesse as well as a fine acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, fleshy/juicy cassis and small notes of juicy/fleshy raspberry associated with a touch of juicy blueberry, cornflower, violet, a very discreet hint of iris as well as fine hints of toasted, vanilla and sweet spices. Tannins are elegant. Sapidity and gourmandize on the finish. There is a hint of cocoa, vanilla and toasted almond on the finish/persistence.
