The nose reveals elegance, fruit, minerality and a discreet edge. There are notes of pulpy/ripe blackcurrant, blackberry and more slightly ripe strawberry combined with hints of violet as well as hints of camphor and fine tonka bean. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, minerality, good definition, a certain gourmandize, all in elegance/finesse, an airy side to the matter as well as a fine airy creaminess. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, blackcurrant and, more slightly, fresh cherry, combined with touches of black berry/small berry, graphite, racy salinity/minerality, fine hints of toastiness, toasted almonds, and a subtle touch of hazelnut and fresh flowers. Good length. The tannins are sapid and well managed.
