The nose is fruity and offers fleshiness, a small freshness as well as a fine crunchiness. It reveals notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy strawberry and small notes of flowers (cornflower, lilac, a hint of iris) associated with fine touches of cassis as well as discreet hints of toasted and a subtle hint of pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, precise and offers juiciness, a good definition, freshness, a small tension, density/richness as well as an acidulous/juicy frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy cassis, juicy/acidulous raspberry and small notes of violet associated with small touches of cherry, cornflower as well as very fine hints of liquorice. Tannins are well built. Good length.
