The nose is fruity and offers a small concentration/power. This wine needs aeration. It reveals notes of blackberry, kirsch cherry and small notes of fleshy black fruits combined with touches of strawberry as well as very fine touches of spices, green pepper, licorice, toasted / mocha and a very discreet hint of nutmeg. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy/mineral frame as well as a fine gourmandize. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe cassis, crushed blackberry and small notes of kirsched cherry associated with fine touches of ripe raspberry, toasted, chocolate, caramelization and a subtle hint of nutmeg. Tannins are well-built. A good persistence.
