The nose is intense, with a certain power, good definition and precision. It reveals notes of boysenberry, violet and small notes of small crushed red berries, associated with fine touches of red pepper, nutmeg, small ripe wild fruits, and a discreet hint of fresh spices and smoke. The palate is fruity, with minerality, juiciness, suppleness, roundness, finesse and energy. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh blackberry, brilliant raspberry and small notes of crunchy cherry, combined with touches of lilac, violet, as well as fine hints of tobacco, nutmeg and a discreet touch of cardamom. The tannins are sapid, mellow and sappy. A little chewiness on the finish/persistence.
