Medium deep ruby color. The nose is warm, enveloping, with a hint of sweetness. It expresses notes of very ripe morello cherry, morello cherry jam, crushed blackcurrant, wild strawberry, damson plum and wild blackberry, combined with refreshing touches of blackcurrant bud and crushed mint. We also find a fine floral side (violet) in the background and delicate spicy notes (clove, cinnamon). The palate is open, juicy, with lots of fruit on the attack: tart red cherry, morello cherry, crunchy blackberry, blueberry, fresh strawberry. In the mid-palate, the wine expresses fine spicy (clove, nutmeg) and toasted notes. The finish is moderately long and expresses more the tight tannic structure of the wine, associated with a nice acidity. A wine with good structure, at the same time juicy and accessible.
