The palate is fruity, slightly tight and offers freshness, fat, softness as well as a slight tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, fleshy cassis and small notes of fleshy raspberry associated with small touches of fleshy berries, Zan, blond tobacco as well as discreet hints of nutmeg and black pepper. Tannins are fine, a bit tight and firm. Good length. There is an imperceptible touch of tonka bean in the background / on the finish.
