The nose is fruity, slightly tight and offers a slight concentration. It reveals notes of red cherry and slight touches of cassis associated with discreet hints of spice and a discreet hint of wood. The palate is fruity, gourmande, well-balanced and offers juiciness, a slight suavity, a slight freshness as well as a slight straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed cherry, crushed raspberry and slight notes of cassis combined with a hint of blueberry, sweet spices as well as subtle touches of caramelization. Tannins are well-built. Beautiful length. There are a fine hint of almond and a fine hint of caramelized oak on the finish / persistence.
