Château Moulin de Blanchon 2017 – Haut-Médoc, Cru Bourgeois

The nose is fruity and offers a fine generosity and power. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, small wild berries and small notes of wild strawberry associated with fine touches of fleshy cherry as well as a subtle hint of vanilla, green cardamom, a very discreet hint of Cuben pepper and sweet spices. The mouth is fruity, juicy, well-balanced and offers a good definition, juiciness/freshness as well as a very fine acidulous frame. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of cherry, juicy strawberry and small notes of juicy cassis associated with fine touches of violet as well as discreet hints of Tonka bean, cardamom and cornflower. Good length. A very fine hint of chocolate (in the background).
