The nose is fruity, well-balanced and offers a fine power. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, wild strawberry and small notes of gray pepper associated with discreet hints of spices as well as a very discreet hint of cardamom/mild tobacco (in the background). The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced and offers suavity, a good structure, a fine acidulous frame as well as a fine tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crunchy blackberry, crunchy strawberry and small notes of crunchy raspberry associated with discreet hints of toasted oak, chocolate as wel as discreet hints of almond. Tannins are well-built. There is a very discreet hint of ripe almond on the finish/persistence. A fruity and “easy-drinking” wine.
