The nose is fruity, slightly tight and offers concentration as well as a small richness (in the background). This wine should be decanted. It reveals notes of fleshy cassis, fleshy strawberry and more slightly wild blackberry associated with touches of fleshy/crushed red berries as well as a hint of violet, fine touches of pepper, nutmeg and a very discreet hint of liquorice (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers suavity, juiciness as well as a juicy/acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, juicy cassis and more slightly juicy/acidulous small red berries associated with fine touches of raspberry as well as discreet hints of flowers and zan/mild tobacco. Tannins are well-built. Good length. There is a very discreet hint of chocolate on the persistence.
