The nose is elegant, racy and offers a certain power, a fine/discreetly racy grain. This wine should be decanted. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, quite ripe wild strawberry and small notes of underwood associated with touches of small quite ripe red berries, tobacco, cardamom, discreet hints of camphor, grey pepper and a discreet hint of rose wood. The palate is fruity, fresh, elegant, racy and offers a beautiful definition, gourmandize, a small tension, a controlled richness, energy and deepness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe/pulpy wild cassis, small juicy/crushed red berries and small notes of griotte cherry associated with touches of quite ripe black plum as well as hints of tonka bean, tobacco, underwood, fine hints of humus, cuben pepper, sweet spices, a subtle hint of clove and Badiane. Tannins are elegant, precise, silky and offer suppleness.
