The nose is fruity, tightly woven and reveals freshness and some power. There are notes of fresh wild red berries, fresh violet/flowers and, more slightly, fresh blackcurrant combined with fine touches of lily, zan and a discreet hint of nutmeg. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, a fine unctuousness and a nice acidic structure. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/unctuous blackberry, fresh/crisp blackcurrant and, more slightly, fresh flowers combined with touches of pulpy cherry, zan, nutmeg, fine cardamom, and a subtle hint of rose and mocha. The tannins are well managed and mellow.
