The nose is racy and offers power, fine intensity and fine grain. There are notes of wild blackberry, pepper and, to a lesser extent, fresh flowers combined with fine varietal touches and a subtle hint of camphor. The palate is fruity and reveals minerality, freshness, some roundness and a fine acidic structure. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy purple plum, blackberry and, more slightly, fleshy/juicy raspberry, combined with hints of lily, lilac and fine hints of liquorice stick, vanilla and a touch of chocolate. The tannins are finely mellow, round and fresh.
