The nose is spicy, frank and offers a lovely floral side as well as a fine and airy grain. There are notes of Cubeb pepper, small wild black fruits and small notes of lily associated with touches of flowers, nutmeg and a discreet hint of pepper. The palate is beautifully juicy, fruity, well-balanced and offers a fresh/acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy cassis, juicy/bright blackberry and small notes of cornflower associated with touches of red berries, pepper as well as hints of star anise and a fine hint of sweet pepper. Good length. A certain mellowness. Tannins are sapid.
