The nose is fruity and reveals fine power. There are notes of boysenberry, fresh/crisp berries and a hint of pepper combined with hints of lily and nutmeg. The palate is fruity and offers minerality, freshness, good definition, fine tension, smoothness and volume. On the palate this wine expresses juicy/pulpy blackberry, small crunchy red berry and more lightly racy minerality combined with fine touches of lily, nutmeg and fine hints of tobacco and cardamom. Good length. The tannins are precise and reveal a fine mellowness and freshness.
